My experiences in the Construction Industry over the last 30+ years have equipped me with a well-grounded understanding of construction practices and relationships between various trades. Early field experience girded my career as a PE and later as a PM for a local GC focused primarily on building schools and other public sector work.
I transitioned to a growing, diversely positioned, southeast regional firm at Samet Corporation in 2014. Here, I furthered my career as a Superintendent for 5 years prior to taking on my current role as Dir. of QA/QC. I enjoy working with an amazing group of construction professionals within Samet Corporation and trade partners across the southeast. The diversity of projects and opportunity to deliver shared experiences across the organization in pursuit of improving Quality is both challenging and rewarding. Delivering expectations is at the root of our Quality program and sharing these experiences across our business units helps elevate Quality for Samet and for our Trade Partners.
Beyond the projects and quality goals, I work with other like-minded individuals and industry organizations to direct interested youth and trade partner employers to intersect at a point of mutually beneficial relationships to backfill the enormous skills needs of the industry.
